Who we are:
Kinarah, an Urdu word with multiple meanings, often refers to “a journey’s safe end.”
For families of special needs children, the journey from diagnosis to treatment is often one of continually enduring, overcoming, and persisting—a journey with no end in sight. Our organization aims to provide support, strategies, and solidarity to families…to help them reach a safe “Kinarah.”
Our mission is to provide support, awareness and social integration to children with special needs, and their families, in countries where government or private-sector support resources are unavailable. We believe that each child has a unique learning process, and we hope to provide resources that allow children with special needs to attain their full potential and adapt to independent living. Kinarah is a platform that connects the most advanced and well-trained therapists from the United States of America to social organizations in developing countries, to share ideas, and identify strategies. We believe that all children, regardless of their country of origin or their ability level, deserve opportunities and resources that will help them maximize their potential.
